Siva’s Bow (Dhanus) 1.31.8-12

In the sacrifice conducted by Daksha, Janaka is known as Devarata. When Daksha’s sacrifice was destroyed, the gods acquired the bow of Siva which they later gave to Janaka. This episode finds place in Padmapurana and Kurmapurana.
