Brahmastra 1.56.17

The Brahmastra has two parts namely Kalapradhana and Rocihpradhana. The first part is devoured by the inner Brahmadanda and the second by the outer. The outer Brahmadanda comprises external mulavidya, while the inner is the outcome of meditating on self. And at the time of knocking down the Brahmastra, Vasishta looked like the embodiment of Brahmavidya. His form was ferocious and awe-inspiring.It instilled fear and stupor in the hearts of the three worlds. It was frightening even when remembered, difficult to be seen, like the fierce forms of Nrsimha, Virabhadra.
